Hans is Director and Chief Scientist of the Artificial Intelligence Technology Center (AITC) in Beijing and Scientific Director of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Berlin. He is also Chief AI Advisor of Lenovo and Honorary Professor of Technische Universität Berlin.
Uszkoreit is Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Member of the International Committee of Computational Linguistics (ICCL). He has worked for more than 30 years in Artifical Intelligence as a professor and research leader, especially in the field of language and knowledge technologies.
He has co-founded and guided several AI startup companies. Uszkoreit’s research is documented in more than 200 international publications.
