May LI is a professor of linguistics from Tongji University, Shanghai, China. She acts as director of the MTI Center of Tongji University, and Vice President of Shanghai Translation Society of Science and Technology. She has been active in teaching and doing research on technology communication in recent years. She offers “technical writing and communication”, “technical communication” and “introduction to technical writing” courses to science and engineering students, English majors and MTI students of Tongji University. She has completed two TC research projects funded by the University and is conducting three more TC research projects funded by the University and the Shanghai Education Commission, exploring the curriculum design, content development of the TC courses both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
