Nick Lambson is a localization engineer at MediaLocate and senior foreign teacher at Beijing Language and Culture University. He graduated with distinction with an MA in Translation and Localization Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
Nick brings nearly 10 years of localization automation experience to tcworld China. His tools are at the foundation of localization workflows for innovative global companies in healthcare, tech, and finance. Nick automated the localization workflow of a Silicon Valley software company, accelerating it from three weeks to three days. Nick also develops machine translation data pipelines and language quality assessment tools for global enterprises.
Nick is well-known for teaching Python to translators both online on nicklambson.com and in the classroom at Beijing Language and Culture University. He is regularly invited as a guest speaker at universities around the world, and has spoken at conferences including the Monterey Forum and TAUS.
